Too Petty to Quit logo in white text on a dusty rose background.

Honest writing about dieting, setbacks and carrying on anyway.

I’ve started more diets than I can count and buried nearly as many. It was never about knowing what to eat. I always knew.

The quiet war in your head starts the moment the diet does. The scale starts running your emotional life. One biscuit tries to ruin the entire week. Monday makes promises it has never once managed to keep.

This is not about diet plans. It is about the thoughts, setbacks and small battles that happen around them and finding ways to keep going through them.

You may recognise some of your own struggles in mine and perhaps feel a little less alone.

Perfection does not lose the weight. Imperfect consistency does.
